DESCRIPTION

Back pain is one of the most common—and costly—health challenges people face. Nearly everyone will experience a significant episode of back pain at some point in their life. In the United States, back pain is:

  • The leading cause of employee absenteeism
  • The top reason for physician visits
  • The largest driver of healthcare spending
  • The most frequently reported cause of workers' compensation claims

When conservative treatments fail, spinal surgery may be recommended to relieve pain and restore function. Procedures such as lumbar and cervical fusion, total disc replacement, and other advanced techniques are tailored to the underlying condition—whether degenerative disc disease, spondylolisthesis, or other spinal disorders. Our role is to provide surgeons with the technologies and solutions that support these complex procedures and help improve patient outcomes.
